INDIA’S BEST COLLEGES, INSTITUTES and UNIVERSITIES

IIPM Chandigarh in coordination with ZEE TV celebrated the auspicious festival LOHRI , It was a pleasant day and the mood was upbeat among all the students of Spring summer and Fall winter “10-12 and 10-13” Batches . After the morning classes they all assembled, with whole hearted enthusiasm to participate in the Kite Flying festival and Bonfire.

The bright faces filled with enthusiasm started the celebration by flying kites high in the sky it was a tough competition between Spring summer and Fall winter batch and the Spring summer won the competition it was real fun to see students cutting each other kites to keep balance of their own kite, and sometimes even pushing others out for space. where students participated in pairs with individuals interfering in between to spoil their way was really entertaining.
The well known “Bonfire” was as usual the most happening event with students dancing round the fire with drum wallaas. With loud cheers and shouts ripping in the air dancing in circle around the fire, people gathered around the bonfire and threw ground nuts puffed rice into the flames of the bonfire.

This event was appreciated by everyone organized by the fresh and the growing talents of IIPM Chandigarh. It was quiet a successful event in bringing out the latest talents of the participants apart from being an ice-breaking session between the faculty and the students in flying kites.

Badminton Championship At IIPM Chandigarh…..

The Torque club of IIPM, Chandigarh had organized a Badminton tournament for Women on 22nd Dec, 2010. Students across all the sections participated and three rounds were conducted (girls’ v/s girls).Towards the end of the contest students were drenching in sweat trying to prove their potential and it was obviously a hard-hitting competition This thrilling match ended with putting in each player left on the ground with the feeling of oneness as they promised to take this relationship further year after year making this initiative an annual event.
